I know this has been discussed several times but i'm not seeing any real solutions, is there a solution to control the introtext in category view?? Yes i did change the params on "Item view options in category listing"

* added char limit in category and in the top right options, also tried removing the read more link.

 

Currently using v2.5 on j1.6.3 - i checked the db and see that default is 30 chars if you do not set, but it still shows full text for me rather i choose hide/show
