First of all, GREAT component!!! I love it. But I have a few questions as far as K2 is concerned.

 

1.) Is there a way to add "publish new article" to my main menu, like I can do with the standard joomla component?

 

2.) I have Front-End publishing turned on, It was set to this by default. But in my front-end I do not see an update button. Any help here?

 

So there you have it. Just to very simple and straight to the point questions. I hope somebody can help me with these issues.

 

The reason I want to get the 'Publish Article' to the menu, is because:

a) I use JomSocial and so I use the 'HelloMe' module for login.

b) I have multiple admins on my site who publish articles, To make it easy for them I have created a menu link with some other front-end admin functionality and this one is a very important addition.

If you have turned on the frontend editing and added the users to the K2 user group, then when the users are browsing to the respective categories they will see add item to this category link and if they're the author they can edit the items.
