HiA simple question I hope.


My client has asked me to reduce the space at the bottom of the pages directly after the content.
 I have done this by reducing the padding from 24px to 5px in k2Container style .



So far so good. 


What I would like to know is, was the padding was set to 24px for a reason other than aesthetic and will that reason only become apparent further down the line when I try do make other changes to the site.

I have made this mistake before.
