I have a pretty serious problem and I believe it is related to K2. After I drill down into my site using a sidebar menu, some of the items in my top menu don't work any more. In fact, the links in the top menu actually change as I drill down.

 

When on my front page, the menu item "pain management" links to this:

 /component/k2/itemlist/category/13

 

But after I drill down, the link in the menu has somehow changed to this:

spine/itemlist/category/13

 

That link does not work... it just redraws the current page. I've tried turning SEF URLs off and disabling the htaccess file, with no luck. I'm also experiencing weird issues with module assignments not appearing.

Do you mean that the sidebar menu works and not the top menu ?

Kind of. I mean that the top menu works sometimes. It stops working when I've used the side menu.

Same problem here: category items stopped working... worked for 2 days, now don't work anymore.
