I would like to know how to make and item thumbnail in list view open the item w/ details in a new window (popup). I know I know !!! why right!  because someone wants it like that regardless of advice.

Is there an built in option to turn this off/on ?

if not ...what is a solid solution.

If you are using K2 template overrides open the category_item.php and locate catItemTitle. To the <a> element add the code you want for the popup window and you are ready.

it also opens it with lightbox , just in case popup blockers are turned on.
