I am new to K2 and I have read several posts about this.

 

The Author picture & other information persists on my front page even though I have set Item View options in the category & the item itself (yes both out of desperation) to hide all the author options. Everything is set to inherit. I have tried setting the author options all to hide in the article itself as well,

 

This has been driving me nuts and I am about to abandon K2 altogether just so I can advance on my project.

 

Check if you have set any parameters in the menu item.

Maybe you should also clean the website cache...

thx guys. It was a frustrated pure newbie issue. I wasn't aware of options controlling the item display also in the module. All fixed.
