Comment Form Not Showing was created by Camila Garcia
Since I upgraded to latest version of K2 the comment form in the item view is not working for registered users. I changed all the permission settings to yes in the registered group but nothing is happening. Only the super administrator can comment. Any ideas?

Here is an example:

cafemeetingplace.com/gmc/guest-speakers/item/550-guest-speak...

You have to login to post comments: username: camila18, password: rush404.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

So I just noticed that since I'm using the joomla module all users are going to the registered user group for joomla but they are not being assigned a group under K2. When I manually add the user to the K2 registered group, if works perfectly. Is there a solution to this without having to go to each individual user and assign them to a K2 group and without using the K2 login module?

Just a note that in the K2 parameters, I have the select k2 group to "registered" but users are still not assigned a k2 group.

Are you using the k2 login module or the joomla login module?

what do you mean by latest? 2.4.1 or 2.5rc

I am using the joomla login module because I needed to use the alpha registration component. I have K2v2.4.1. I just resolved the issue momentarily by commenting out the if statement on plugins/user/k2.php that calls for the K2UserForm so that it would bypass that but if there is a cleaner way of fixing this, I would like to do it. Is this issue resolved in 2.5rc? I didn't even know 2.5 was out!
