Good afternoon, I'm building a Joomla 1.7 and installed the K2 v2.5 (SVN). Yet installed the Simple Image Gallery PRO to have multiple images on a single item. But they do have all the assets and can not upload. Gives the following error: "Unknown file type. Gallery upload error. Can not extract archive." I needed your help. Please. thanks Nuno Silva

When you prepare a file for upload to gallery, be sure all the filenames are unix friendly, that you put all the files in one directory, and that you use zip extension. Be sure that the zip file is under the max_fileupload size for your site and that the files jpg or zip are supported

I have the same problem.

The same zip file was extract fine in Joomla 1.5.23 with K2 version 2.41 but not in Joomla 1.71 with K2 version 2.5

The error message is:



Unknown Archive type
Gallery upload error. Cannot extract archive.



Are diferent servers but I check about zip files and is allowed and the max file size upload is 300 MB and my zip have just 1 MB

 

Any idea ?
