Page 404 following migration was created by Michael Stewart
Hi, I've just migrated a working website comprising Joomla/K2 and Virtuemart from a Linux based server to an Apple server running OS X Snow Leopard, For the migration I used Akeeba backup and kickstart and everything went very smoothly. Database was successfully imported and the Admin area of Joomla is fully functioning. Unfortunately When I access the frontend of the website I get a 404 page not found. I've checked to make sure that the mainmenu is active and selected as default - it currently points to a K2 item. If I create a Joomla article and set that as the homepage the frontend works (no 404 error). I've tried different combinations of SEF in the global configuration screen but I still get a 404 error when trying access any K2 pages. the .htaccess file has been copied over without any problems. Does anyone have any ideas what I might look for in order to get the website working?
