Hi I'm sure somebody can help me with this query

 

I want to change the text at the bottom of a K2 article to say "case studies: instead of "latest from" for the latset item from author bit

 

any help will be greatly appreciated

Go to the :com_k2/templates/default/item.php

 

 

in that search for word ""latest" and replace what  word u like...

Changes would be overwritten with next update. Better do this on item.php with template Override

I've done that but it doesn't seem to show up - I'm using a Gavick rtemplate - the k2.css is not where it normally is - do you think maybe the item.php is in another place as well?

it is: This is template override :)

 

plz take a look in templates\GavickTemplate\html\com_k2\ etc. till item.php
