We had several issues with the K2 component on our Joomla 1.7 site, so after reading here in the forum that nothing would be lost with a uninstall/reinstall of the K2 component we decided to do that.

 

But that was a big mistake to do.

 

After we had reinstalled the K2 component we saw that all articles were gone, no categories, no images etc. The K2 databases was also empty.

 

We had a backup that we had created with Akeeba backup, but that backup was corrupt and we was not able to restore that one.

 

So now we have a site with no content since our site only had K2 articles.

 

Any ideas?
