First, thanks K2, it's a great tool, it helps me lot!

My problem that I created a Joomla site with K2 on my local machine, then I uploaded to the hosting few days ago. It works good.

Just now, I added 3 new items, but it didn't show up on the  frongpage, I tested on my local machine to add some new items, it works. I thought the problem because I installed 2 SEO plugin after I uploaded whole site to the hosting, It's the only different between local and hosting, so I disabled them, but problem still there. I have no idea why.

Please help me if you had same problem before.

I tried to create a new category, it works.

Then 10 mins ago, I copied the database from hosting to my local, connected the local Joomla site to this database, then I added new item, but still couldn't show.

So, I think the problem is about the database, isn't it?

But, how to fix it.. ...

Is the 3 new items that you added is in the correct category that is linked with the frontpage menu item ?

Yes, they are added in the correct category, even I can see the count number changed on the K2-Categories of the Administration page.

Kannan, you know, I copied database from hosting to local, the problem is still, do you think it's database's problem? 

I'm sure it's Database.I just add a record on 'k2_items' table manually, it works!

Gosh, why! I can't add ever new item by direct add record in the database every time!

I always use akeeba backup to backup my site locally and upload the .jpa file to my hosting server and use the kickstart.php to install. Another must to have component is Admin Tools Core. Check here

This problem solved.

After many hours yesterday, finally I found why.

When I uploaded to the hosting server, I changed the Time Zone settings from USE DEFAULT to Paris, I used default for my local setting. Now it works after I changed back.

However, I think the problem was about the Time - publish time, create time and modify time. I hope I'm right, lol.
