I'm trying to translate the date type extra field in Joomfish.

i believe that I don't have the right content element parameter in the Joomfish xml file for the date in extra fields.

I would like to change the dates in other languages to the other values and that's exactly why I need those values to be translated.

All the other types are translating without the issue like Text area and the drop-down.

Can somebody help me about this? It would be much appreciated!

It would be useful if the developers can look in to this because there is a new extra fileds type introduced with the version 2.5.x.

Hi. There is no meaning in translating a date. If you just want to have different formating the language variable that is used there is the K2_DATE_FORMAT_LC. So translating this in your language files will alter the date format.
