users can't leave comments.. new users need to be? was created by Melvin Lardenoye
i am using some k2 items on this site: www.interclassicsmaastricht.nl/.
Site is now live, and in the backend settings are: registred users can leave posts. also user-registration is enabled.
still there is no way logged users can leave commets. after loggin in, joomla message is: you are not prohibited to see the private part of this website (sorry translated from duch).
anybody?
thanx

Hi. It seems that you have messed up the Joomla! settings with K2 settings. K2 comments are setup under K2 parameters in the administration. The error you are getting is something else. Please ensure that the page you are viewing is visible by the specific user.

my settings are: only registred users may leave comments...
so this doesn't make sense..
can you please help me out, site is now live... :(

The message you are getting may come from anywhere. Ensure that the page is visible for the specific user. Then you need to do the same for all the modules of this page.

unfortunately i can't send PMs with this forum. i would like to get some help, as i have checked my whole site, and can't seem to figure out whats wrong.
new users are listed: registred. and k2 is set that registred users are allowed to leave messages....
this message and the result that no-one is able to post drives is getting me frustrated... :(

within joomla there's an option to allow/disalow even registered users to publish/modify the front-site.
