i've posted my question in italian forum but no answers...so i'm writing here.

My problem is:
I have 3 k2 item for example:

1 - Article 100
2 - Article 1001
3 - Collection 106

If i search "100" - > It find number 2
If i search "106" - > It find no items
If i search "art" - > It find no items
If i search "col" - > It find no items

I tryed change search sistem like PixSearchNG that is an ajax search but i think it use standard joomla engine. So, k2 search tool use joomla engine or other?

That's a big problem for my client.... Hope you can help me...

K2 uses MySQL Full Text search capabilities. By default MySQL indexes only words of four characters or more. You need to tweak MySQL to search for words of three characters. You can learn more on this at dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/fulltext-fine-tuning.html
