How do I add to the K2 user profile. I want to add such items as date of birth, etc.

I tried the User Extended Fields for K2 (by JoomlaWorks) and it stinks. The front end showed tabs of k2_address, etc???

Also, when I enable the Joomla User Profile, I get a calendar.setup: error on the front end?
