I've been working on my site for a while now and wanted it to be multilanguage (english-swedish-finnish). I stumbled upon a tiny problem trying to get the read more link: (MORE) to be translated. Even though everything else translates fine I can not get the read more link to be on different languages. I got joomla 2.5 and k2 plugin with both joomla and k2 language extensions. Also I have a bought template which i modify.

Have been googling this whole day without any success. everything is fine in .../mysite/language/* files. But i found a .ini file under .../templates/mytemplate/language/en-GB/ and when i modify the file

K2_READ_MORE_THEME = "More" to K2_READ_MORE_THEME = "Lisää"

It changes on my site but shows up as Lis<?><?>

Tried changing it to UTF-8 but it didin't work; the "read more" -box shows up as K2_READ_MORE_THEME
