Has anyone else tried using the archive/calendar filter? When I select a specific parent category, none of the children items are parsed, which means the module is empty. I'm guessing most people use sub-categories and different parents for different parts of the site, so how do I select one parent and its children with the archive/calendar module and exclude other parent categories?

I have the same problem and there is no way to filter the children category selecting a parent one.
I just hope that someone will arrange soon the situation becouse this is very important !!!
