I have created k2 content that displays on the home page using the k2 category via menu item. The content displays as it should, but when and item of that k2 content is selected joomla takes me to the same home page with the selected item content. How can i have joomla give me a different page other than the home page just like on image #3 ?

Hi. Pages in Joomla! are defined my the menu links. So if you want different pages for some items you need to create menu links for those items or for their categories.
