converting simple content extension to k2

converting simple content extension to k2 was created by bholub
I wrote a simple joomla extension to inject some html into the bottom of blog posts which belong to a specified category.

The plugin does not show k2 categories. How can I allow selection of K2 categories, or do I need a completely separate plugin.

Is there documentation somewhere on K2 extension xml files? I can't seem to find any K2 extension development documentation at all

Hi. You can add custom fields to category by using something like that in your XML file:
<params group="category">
....
Your params here
....
</params>
