Bugs in the user registration page? was created by Per Mork
There seems to be a bug in the user registration page. As you see in the picture, there is a few strange things:

1. Confirm email has a red glow around it. I have no idea why
2 It seems the form are confusing the Confirm email with username.

How do I rectify these things.

Hi. First of all the auto-complete of the field is caused by the browser. If you use another browser you will see that it will be empty. Secondly, i just tested and i was able to create an account with no issues. What version of K2 and Joomla! are you using? Are you getting any error when completing the form?

I may have cryed wolf a bit too early here. Its just that I saw this on several browsers. But I now also see it is fine on my home mac. People complained they could not register and they get no message when they hit Submit. One suggested I try placing <jdoc:include type="message" /> in my index.php. I now get the successfull registering message ok, if a bit crude looking. I see what I can do with styling on it.

Sorry to bark up on this. I can only say I wish that register component had a better way to give its messages. But it still sure beat standard joomla registering. Apart from this I only have positive things to say about K2

K2 uses Joomla! messages to handle forms like the registration. The code generating these messages should exist in your template. This is the way all extensions are sending messages to the browser.
