Help frontend submitted article stays unpublised

In K2 v2.5.7. I set up a K2 group for users who can submit to one category via the front end, they can submit the article. But it remains unpublished even though the backend admin panel says it's published. Also the added article if viewable in the front end under the authors name but it's listed as "unpublished" what am I missing? Hi. Check the item's Start/Finish publishing dates as well as the item access level.

Also note that if caching is enabled it may take some time for the item to come up in the front-end.
