Hi, I am wanting to use K2 because it looks like a robust CMS for Joomla. With that said, can I post articles from the frontend and specify the category I want to post to?

I want to be able to provide this functionality to my clients to avoid them having to use the Joomla backend since my clients find the joomla backend too overwhelming to learn.

All I want is a submission form from the frontend that:

1) Allows my client to simply post an article using the k2 form on the frontend with custom fields that I have specified

2) Allow my client from the frontend to choose the category to post to.

Hi. You can do both of things you want to. You can also take a closer look on K2 by downloading it and test it.
