I am trying out the Mission Control admin template from RocketTheme and like it a lot. However, the quick icons are all geared towards the built in content management in Joomla.

Some things are easy to fix, but I would like to figure out the link to "New item" in K2. Anyone got an idea?

Hi. If i got it correctly you are asking about the link? The link to new item is :

index.php?option=com_k2&view=item.

Note that you can also make a template override to the K2 Quick icons module and use it as you wish in your admin template.

I was looking at the link for the button, but it had view=items# at the end. But your version worked fine :-)

The QuickIcons for MissionControl has a button for easy customization. That might be an idea for future versions of K2!
