I’m trying to create a web site for top models. The main idea is use K2/Joomla. My planned workflow is: The user made the auto registration, after that, user configures their profile (photos, personal information, description, etc) using a K2 form. The problem is: how can I make one user have access just to your own K2 profile form?

My reference is demo.joomlaxtc.com/agency17/ but I need to make it self-administrated. The models and photographers will need to edit their own profiles.

Is it possible? How can I do that?

Hi. This cannot be done easily with K2. You need to create a new K2 category and a new K2 user gorup for each one model and then give the group permissions to edit only the specific category. Note that these permissions are only applied in the front-end editing.

Another solution would be to develop a K2 plugin that can extend the user profile withe fields you need.
