[SOLVED] Cannot import Joomla! content into K2 was created by Jerry Laviña

All I get is a blank screen after clicking on "Import Joomla! content" link. I tried it on another installation and was successful.

BTW, we were using Kirigami from RocketTheme on Joomla 2.5.6.

Set error reporting to highest to see what the error is
Check your javascript that is loading in k2 params

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() is most likely the problem
Check the information tab on K2 and if mbstring is not enabled, get your host to turn it on as it is required
