My frontend is in Portuguese and backend in English. I have already downloaded the translation file for k2 component.

Now I need clear instructions on how to install it. I need only frontend in portuguese. Where to upload the packaged? What else is necessary ?

Hi. FIrst you need to install the Joomla! Portugese language pack. After that you can install the Portugese translation of K2. You can then choose your desired languages for front-end and backend through Joomla! language manager.

"Language Install: No core pack exists for the language :pt-BR

Install Language Error"

What might be the problem ?

You need to first install the Joomla! language package for pt-BR .
