Unable to create articles from front-end

To see if everything was OK, I tried to do the same thing on another site on different server. The same situation: J2.5.7 and K2 2.5.6. On the latter site simulations are all successful, with all possible permissions. On the first site, however, I just can't make create/publish articles to users. Within the category you want, I click 'add new article in this category ', I open the popup window, entering data, click on ' save ' and dislay the message: "The requested URL/component/k2/item/index.php was not found on this server".
I tried everything: change permissions in Joomla and K2, create new users, set the settings of K2, try using different browsers, consult the forums ... Finally, on the problematic server I tried a fresh install of Joomla in a subfolder, with k2. Identical situation.
This is the problem: with the same settings on both sites, the second always publishes articles, the first one at all. Depends on the server?
Specific characteristics:
- PHP version: 5.2].17 (both)
- MySql 5.1.49-version: community-log (on the site that works); 5.0.92-enterprise-gpl-log (on the server that has failed).
I feel sorry for the little English.

Have you modified the Joomla! .htaccess file?
About the .htaccess file, this is the situation.
• On the site running: Options +FollowSymLinks & RewriteEngine On & RewriteBase /
• On site with errors: #Options +FollowSymLinks (requested by server) & RewriteEngine On & #RewriteBase /
The rest of the site works correctly. Is the rest part of the site working as it should?
I don't use SEF extensions.Try to play around with the Joomla! SEF settings and see if anything changes. Are you using any SEF extension on the site that you are facing the issue?
If the error depends on .htaccess, can I bypass the Options + FollowSymLinks commented requested by server?

Is there any way (email or otherwise) to alert the administrator that a user has posted an article? (I have to open another post?)
Otherwise, I'd use the feed.
Thanks again.

I tried specific extensions, but I have not found. Also, I'm not very experienced to create triggers. Never mind.
But now there is a new message. When I click on ' save ' window appears: "Calendar.setup: Nothing to setup (no fields found)". I reinstalled K2 2.5.7 but nothing.
For another problem, previously I had to reset all permissions via the server. Is this the cause? And the solution?
Thanks for your patience.

I solved this problem only by restoring from a previous backup.
Thank you.
