Comments Box not showing was created by Hans Pfeiffer
Hi Guys
Now here's a strange one . . In K2 items params I set comments to: Registered users only, I log into jommla as either a registered user or superuser. NO Commnets box will show! When logged out it correctly shows: "Login to post comments".
And of course when I open it up to "everyone" in params, the comments box WILL show. ANY IDEAS?
I like to reserve comments for reg users though because of the spammers. But right now I don't have a choice but to open it up
and only allow 1 comment. Appreciate your help!

Make sure that the K2 user which is logged in is assigned to a K2 group which have the "Post comments" permission.

Thanks very much for your suggestion!
I added the group "Registered", saw the specific user as logged in and registered (in K2 users).
Comments box still not showing. Same behavior as mentioned originally.

Hi. Try to use the default K2 templates just in case you have messed up some code in your overrides.

Check "Assign group permissions to these categories" in your usergroup settings and make sure you have the right categories filtered.
Try to set the filter to all and test it again.
