Permanent text on front page only was created by Thomas Unterstaller
Hi folks!

I am creating a web site for a club.
The club president wants me to put a welcome-text on the front page. So there is his picture and he says "Welcome to our club...."

However, this welcome-text should show up only on the front page ("Home").

Before I used K2, i just placed an empty module on top of the front page, put the text into it and assigned the module to the menu item "Home" only. So when someone clicked on one of the articles on the front page, he could then read the whole article without the welcome-text-module showing up any more.

Can anyone tell me how to apply this welcome text so that it does show only on top of the front page and when I click on an article it is not shown any more?

Thanks in advance!

Hi. You can do it exactly the same way as you would do with com_content.
