I have installed K2 version 2.5.1 installed on joomla 1.7.3
When an 'administrator' creates a new K2 item later wanted to re-edit it this error is thrown: K2_JERROR_ALERTNOAUTHOR

Seems to work fine for 'super admin'

Has this been fixed in recent K2 releases?

If so could you point me to some upgrading documentation please?

Hi. You need to update both your Joomla! and K2 installations. K2 latest stable version is 2.5.7 currently. Regarding Joomla! going to version 2.5 is also highly recommended.
