The template I purchased with K2 installed had "K2" as the blog. However, I need the URL to read mydomain.com/blog instead of mydomain.com/k2. After renaming K2 to Blog, I now have an issue with K2 tools. When I use K2 tools as say a blog category listing in the sidebar of the blog page, all is well and the links point to mydomain.com/blog/itemlist/category/.

However, if I put this same module in a sidebar on any other page of my site, the links point to mydomain.com/component/k2/itemlist/category/.

So it seems that outside the actual "blog" page, the links revert to the k2 component. I believe I did not rename the K2 to Blog properly. Can anyone shed some light on what I did incorrectly?

Hi. Try to make menu links for your categories. This way you will get the best URLs you can have in Joomla! ( without using any SEF extension ).
