I need to set up some extra fields with the field type of an image browser so that when the administrator clicks to access it he/she will get prompted with an image browser and be able to upload an image and associate it with the field.

I see common field types like Text field, Textarea, Drop-down selection ... Date but nothing for an image and uploader. Any way to do this?

Hi. There is no way to do this with K2 out of the box. You need to develop a K2 plugin. Of course this requiires programming knowledge.
