Is there any way in the admin panel (module/file hack) to filter k2 items by extra field value?

For example, a tour operator has a unique code for each excursion that they do not want in the title or in fact even visible to the front end user, but they need to find that excursion quickly by unique code. So two issues arise here that I can not see a way around:

1. Fill in extra fields in admin panel when editing item but content only visible to administrator and not to site visitors.

2. Filter k2 items by values in extra fields in admin panel - there are various modules for doing this for the site visitor but not in the admin panel?
