I am using Joomla 2.5.6 & Κ2 2.5.7 when i share content at fb with default like button of K2 or with another sharing module/plugin the description characters changes to something like these

Πέντε νέες ταινίες, δύο

i am using greek language for my k2 contents.

Can you tell me where is the problem??i try different editors but still same problem and only when i share to facebook.

Just a quick fix, go to

components/com_k2/views/item/ and open the view.html.php file

go to somewhere in line - 302

and change this

from : $metaDescItem = htmlentities($metaDescItem, ENT_QUOTES, 'utf-8');
to : //$metaDescItem = htmlentities($metaDescItem, ENT_QUOTES, 'utf-8');

basically just add // infront of it to disable that line.

and tell me whats wrong because i notice when i add a video with my videoplayer or youtube embeded default cant show article image thumb when i share to fb.

I think its something from the template but i cant find any way to adjust the opengraph parameteres.
i am using Q K2 Social Share Pro.

Template is gavick world news 2 but when i asked them about this problem they said that its from k2.
