i want to change the Text of the Read More Buttons.
I have installed the german language pack but the buttons didnt change.

hi

l had a same problem. you have to look for the "read more" replacement in the language directory.

look around in your template.ini and in k2.ini in the de-DE dir for the item.

first, thx for your help. but i cant find something.
on my template/theme902/language dir i dont have a de-DE directory. Only a en-GB directory.
MAMP/htdocs/templates/theme902/language/en-GB/en-GB.tpl_theme902.ini
--> K2_READ_MORE_THEME = "More"


and as you see in the de-DE.com_k2.ini it is translated into german.
MAMP/htdocs/language/de-DE/de-DE.com_k2.ini --> K2_READ_MORE="weiterlesen ..."

What exactly are you trying to do? Please be more specific. Are you trying to change the read more button of K2 layouts? Or you are using your own text in your template files? In any case the K2 language files resits at /language directory. Open the language file for your language and search for the translation string.

I have same problem like the thread starter an d need some help.

German language packages are installed, regular Joomla as well as k2 language package, and set them default.

Problem is that some party are in german language and some arein english, for example the K2 "read more" button. But if I try to change the "read more" by an language override, there is still the german word for it written at the key!?

So what to do?
