When you submit a comment (on the French translation side) the message says:

Commentaire ajouté et en attente d\'approbation.

There should not be a '\' after the ''d'. Can you tell me how to change that? I am not sure where this problem is occurring as the language file /fr-FR.com_k2.ini is correct (as you can see below).

What does SVN stand for and I guess I must download the latest version of K2 for this change to take affect? Or do I just download the latest language pack?

It's the development version. It is not recommended on production sites but it may work. So you can either grab it at getk2.org/assets/svn/ or wait until the next K2 release. Or, since your issue was simple you can take a look at the changes and integrate them by yourself code.google.com/p/getk2/source/detail?r=1662
