Hi. First of all the version of K2 that you are using is really outtdated, you need to update. Secondly you can hide the button by making template overrides and remove it from the files. A more quick and easy solution is to hide it with CSS.

in k2 2.6 use firebug to inspect and you will find div.itemBackToTop on line 345 k2.css
Edit k2.css
add display none to it and it will be hidden
A similar approach with firebug will find it in all the versions

Sorry William, but that answer makes no sense to me! I cannot find any "backtotop"-div in the css styling. I checked both; category (cont. 37 lines) and item (cont.340 lines) .

Open K2.CSS and if you are using latest K2 2.6.x add this line at the end of the file.

thank you this works... but just as an idea why not add it as a parameter in "Item view options"

Hi, i'm interested to solve this too...

I would ask if in the latest version is there a solution to enable "Back to top" anchor only in same articles.

Is there a new solution? Or maybe i've to disable it for everything?

Thankyou.

No, I'm afraid that there is no option to Show/Hide it through a parameter.
