Hi

I am having a hard time figuring out why the <hr id="system-readmore" /> tag is working for items in one category, but not another.

On the one it is not working on, I am inserting the readmore in between text and when I view the article, it is breaking the text on the front end, but there is not link to the rest of the article. There is no link to view the full article. This is only happening on one category and working fine on another.

Please give me any advice you can on how to solve this.

Hi. You need to check the category settings ( or menu settings or module settings depending on the context ) and ensure that the "Read more link" is set to "Show". If it is but it still does not show up, then probably you have removed it from your layout files.
