Edit: Ok, I'll compile 2.6.0 erros so far:


1)
Fatal error: Call to a member function getSearchValue() on a non-object in /home/l ... /public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/models/item.php on line 721

I get this error every time I try to edit an article (when saving it). It's very frustrating...

2) Extra-fields are not showing when the Category is selected.Only when the article is saved, but as stated, then you can't edit it anymore.

3) Cpanel.php problems (error on backend, can't change order ir the file is deleted): See post

4) Facebook problems. See post


I would say everyone to DO NOT UPGRADE YET! It was a lot of issues.




PS: I had to create a new account because I wasn't able to post here with the old one, it always said:

I don't know if the change order being blocked (grey) is indeed an error, because you can activate it by clicking in "Order", but for people who have lots of items, this is not easy at all to modify.

Yep, having the same issue with 2.6 and 2.6.1 - This is on joomla 2.5 and joomla 3.0

What Joomla! version are you using? You wrote three posts but you didn't mention the version.... Also be more specific about your extra fields issue. Are you getting any error?

The item .php error was confirmed by a moderador of this forum in this topic

The extra-fields (and tags!) issue:

When creating an article, you fill your extra-fields and tags. But when the article is saved (and gives the php error), the information of tags and extra fields is not saved, and the item is published as you had write nothing on extra fields and tags.

i have the same error saving/modifing an item by forntend k2 panel.
Using Joomla 2.5.7 & K2.6.1.

Is possible to do a downgrade to k2 2.5.7? (2.5.7 hasn't this problem)
