Hello,

I set up permission for register users, that they can add item from front end, but they don't have publishing rights. The admin of the site will approve items after moderation.

I would like them to receiving automatically emails when the item is published or deleted.

How can I do this, is there an option for this?

Currently there is K2autonotify which is only for joomla 1.5
It sends notifications when new items are added and published into a k2 category to a list of subcribers to that k2 category.
Hopefully, there will be news soon about aviliability for j 2.5
