Problem with K2 Save was created by Jake Knight
I have a recurring issue that I have previously solved with a slight change in the K2 code.

After an upgrade, I can't find the override to fix the issue as it was in a post on the old K2 board.

The issue I have is that when a user on the front end, edits an item and clicks save, the item does not save and the site's homepage loads in the K2 popup.

This seems to be a problem with the relative url used by the script based on my server. I just can't find how to fix it.

J! v 1.5.26
K2 2.5.6

I have seen this before, but am like you.
Its not happening on my dedicated server.
Have you turned sef and mod rewrite off to see what happens

Thanks william. I'm not sure I can attempt that. This is a very large and very active site. I might be able to do it VERY briefly.

This is just frustrating because there was a thread on the old K2 forum with the answer plain and clear. Now I just can't find any solution.

Just checked it out and it worked without SEF and Rewriting, but I must have that enabled on this site.

Any ideas?

I know the override was in one of the controller files for what happens with that save button is clicked. It was a very minor rewrite of the target action.

Well suddenly, after toggling the SEF, crashing the site for a minute, and bringing it back up the edit form now seems to be working correctly.

Stay tuned for further info...
