im new to k2 and was thinking about to integrate it with my page.
But if i do, i need to allow my registered members to submit pages and stuff - is this possible?

yes you can, enable front end editing in the k2 op[tions
create k2 user groups,
give the members of the groups rights to certian categories
assign users to the groups
publish k2 users
there should be an add new item link after login
