REcaptcha not showing, even after
enabling the plugin
enabling recaptcha in the the k2 parameters
registering recaptcha thry google
and getting the public and private keys and entering those into the plugin.

Still not showing, any suggestions on what i may be missing?

What version of Joomla are you using?

oops sorry!!! Joomla 2.5.7

Ok try to go to backend->site->global configuration and under site tab u should see Default Captcha. change this from None selected to Captcha -REcaptcha adn that should enable it on your site.
