Hello, I am new to K2 and also joomla, in addition, web itself.
First, I apologise in advance if I write something strange or rude as I am not fluent in English.

To get back to the main issue, when I create a new item and save it, it appears yellow(or may be orange) icon with an exclamation mark for 'published' on an items list.
When I link the item with a menu item, it would not work and appears error 404 on front end as if there is no item exists.
It worked okay a few hours ago, but it turned to be error somehow. I have no idea why this happens.

Strangely, I can add documents to an existing documents(category) by front end editing, but I want to create other new menus and items for them from back end.

I have searched on internet but could not find the solution.
I would be very glad if you could help me.

Hey,

what version of K2 are you using and what version of joomla?

Do you have full access to backend?

What i understood from your post you want to link menu item to K2 item? Did you create Category for the items?

joomla version 2.5.7
k2 version 2.6.1

I do have full access to backend.
Also I have created a category for items.

before linking menu item with k2 item,

I cannot create an item somehow.

Hey,

Do you get any info about warning icon when you hover your mouse above it? Also try to create new item and put only numbers in the title. Also try to check the item alias make sure that your native language symbols are not in them.

Basically maybe it's a language problem. Try to test that out.

I have tried to create new item and put only numbers in the title without my language, as you wrote for me.
However, the situation haven't changed...

It is written something like it is set to be published but it is holding.

I have uninstalled and installed again, but the situation haven't changed, either...

I do not think it is a language error as it worked once just after I installed for first time, but it turned to be error suddenly somehow...

I founded the cause, it was time zone problem!

The item was successfully published with changing the creation date and start publishing time to a day before.

However, I have not still know how to publish at the correct time.
At least, the time zone of joomla, my computer, server are all the same,
but I have no idea how to set the time zone of k2.
