Can anyone provide a step by step for adding the K2 Quick Icons to my Control Panel Dashboard for the 2.6.1 version? Or point me in the right direction for those instructions?

go to extensions-module and select the administratormodules
activate the module with the k2 quickicons

Nice one.

I see I can have the K2 icons display before the default Joomla icons...

Is there any way to have that tab open as default? Currently I have to click to open it.... and the Joomla tab is open by default.
