I recently moved from simple Articles and Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.7 and K2. As you can imagine the jump was pretty big, specially because I had to migrate 4.500 articles and handle 20 authors.
One of the last problems I deal is this. If you have a user in the Author Group and don't allow them to publish articles then when he initially uploads something he waits for approval
But after the approval, if this Author wants to make a small tweak he edits the article ( he has the right to do it) and when he click save the article is in Unpublished Mode.
So this is a huge problem because articles come and go (online,offline) for such minor adjustments.
I don't want to give the right to my authors to publish/unpublish things. I just want when they edit something after that something was published, to stay published once again.
In my opinion this should be a group setting, something like "Allow User to edit Published and stay Published".
I did some hacks but without any lack. Any idea how to do this?
