Is there any way to do this? What I wanna do is to show the first article in category when I press on one category. Not to show the list of articles.

Hi. Go to category settings and set the appropriate values for primary, leading and secondary items.

Thanks, but I meant to show the full view of the first article of the category instead of the list of items ... I'm afraid it's a bit strange to ask this but are customer requirements.
If someone could provide some solution, I'd appreciate it.

Make a template override and output the fulltext variable along with the introtext.
