How to hide k2 identifiers was created by Andy
Hi, I am wondering how websites using k2 are identified. Webservices like buildwith or wappalyzer can identify sites using k2 automatically. So, how do they do it and what to do to prevent it?

Thanks for any help

Hi. Not sure how they do it ( probably by looking specific parts of code in the page source ) and you cannot prevent it.

Hi, yes I suppose it must be somewhere in the code. For example, Joomla itself is being identifies by the X-Content-Encoded-By. Now the question is which is the K2 identifier..

Has anybody an idea?
