why i could only change the picture width?
e.g.: i need banner-size for article image, but "normal" size for categorie view.
(and source should be the same picture)
how could i change the individual picture width AND high??

You can change the width that k2 uses to create its item images in the parameters in the k2 dashboard.
You can only specify the width, as the image will be sized proportionally to several sizes that you can pick in both your k2 category and item settings.
If you want an image with different dimensions in a particular k2 item you can insert it into the main content of the k2 item just as you would with j articles.

to only specify the width it's not really handy, because i need full control of every single image on my site.
(i think that should be a feature in one of the next update)

and btw. if i wanna try to put pictures with different dimension into the main content of the k2 item for hundrets of article, i would go crazy (or my costumer;)
also i think it destroys the main logic behind k2.
and one another thing, most of other moduls only take care of the main pic.
so, if i wanna do this your way, i loose control over k2.

my wish for future updtaes, pls. add. the posibilty to change the picture highs!!

Make a template override and add the width and height you wish there.
